Late Introduction

Hello future social media famous people!

Lets admit it.  We all want to be famous.

Well guess what?  You can be.

And your in luck, because I'm going to show you how.

It won' be easy.  It'll take some work.  And there is a lot to know.  But the good news is it's more of a science than it is an art.  And it's DEFINITELY not all luck.

The first thing you need to do is to choose what type of YouTuber you're going to be.

There's a few things to consider.  First is the time it will take to make your videos compared to how many subscribers these types of channels will get.  In my opinion, vlogging is the best route, because it takes little time to make a vlog and they tend to get lots of subscribers.  A vlog video that is personal, funny, and relatable can be short and easy to make but also very entertaining.

An example of a type of channel that I would not recommend would be one that makes home made music videos.  These types of videos are very common, there are a lot of people doing them.  But they also take a lot of work and a lot of time to film and edit, and they don't usually pull in that many subscribers.

Also, tutorials can take a long time to make and they don't tend to pull in subscribers either.  This isn't surprisng and I'll explain why.  Think about a user who searches for a tutorial on "how to spin a basketball on your finger."  They find the video and watch it once and then that's it.  They've now learned the skill they were looking for and don't really have a reason to subscribe to the channel even if it's good, because they have already got everything they think they want from that person.  Vlogs however, introduce users to a person hopefully in a personal and entertaining way.  The user likes what they see, and want to see the next interesting vlog the vlogger makes.  So they are likely to subscribe so they don't forget or miss it.

I will be going more in depth with "how to pick what type of YouTube you should make" in my next post.
